We breed our sows for one litter per year. The final breeding pens were set up this morning.
Two of the largest 2019 gilts that were held for evaluation, Janice and Beatrix, made the cut. We can only have so many pigs here on the farm so the other three will be given more time to grow.
Here's the line up:
Pen 1: Erma and Cedric
Pen 2: Fred and Eleanor
Pen 3: Charlie, Dancer, and Beatrix
Pen 4: Sam, Sky, and Janice
