Incubating Speckled Sussex Eggs

With six adults in the household, we use a great many eggs. The ten hens we currently have just weren't producing enough. We definitely need at least six more laying hens. It is a bit too early for the hens to be going broody, and since we already had the incubator set up for the turkey hatching eggs that were sent to us, we decided to throw in a few of the Sussex eggs for good measure. The eggs were candled this morning and all seem to be developing nicely.
