Christmas Chicks!

One little American Bresse chick has hatched! One more has pipped. These are shipped eggs so I am not expecting much. Just really want at least two.

This is a French, dual purpose breed we are going to try. They are pure white birds with red combs and blue legs.  They are known for their succulent meat, excellent foraging skills, and good egg laying. Pictures coming when hatch is complete.
